My Research Goals

In doing my research, I would to know more about how slang has evolved over the years or how it has changed. What I mean by that is that how words,phrases,and etc. have come and gone.The reason why I would to know this is because I have my beliefs about how people talk.I know over the years people have came up with words and they became popular and people have used them. Words have became well-known and used widely over the years.So as apart of my research goals, I plan to find evidence to support my research topic.

My Language Beliefs

People may be able to speak different languages but I believe every language has a certain type of slang. I know everyone has or currently uses slang. I also think slang is apart of the every day life for most, if not all people. Slang can be hard not to say, but at the same it can be hard to forget. For example, when you go in for a job interview, you can't go into the interview saying, "Yo, Shawdy I should be hired for dis job cuz I know I can getter done". It doesn't matter how you talk, because I believe everyone uses slang in there own ways. How I came my belief is that when I watch T.V. you see aspects of how people talk.
